Cell returns "Requires valid license key" even though I have a valid license key

If  you're seeing a cell return "Requires valid license key" even if you have entered a valid key into the add-on's Set License Key dialog box located under Add-ons Sheets Market DataSet License Key, here are a couple ways you can try and address this issue:

1) Re-enter license key

  • Open up the Add-ons Sheets Market DataSet License Key dialog box.
  • Copy the license key where it says "You already have a License Key set: ".
  • Paste the copied license key into the dialog box.
  • Press the Ok button.
  • Reload the page.

2) Delete the cell and re-enter formula

  • Click on the cell that is showing "Requires valid license key" and copy it or open the cell and copy the formula.
  • Delete everything within that cell.
  • Paste the formula into the same exact cell you just cleared.

3) Clear your browser's cache

If using Chrome

  • Open a new browser tab and type: "chrome://settings/".
  • Scroll down to "Advanced" and click it.
  • Click "Clear browsing data".
  • Check the box next to "Cached images and files".
  • Click "Clear data".
  • Quit and reopen Chrome.

If using Firefox

  • Open a new browser tab and type: "about:preferences#privacy".
  • Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section.
  • Click the Clear Data... button.
  • Check "Cached Web Content".
  • Click the Clear button.
  • Quit and reopen Firefox.

If using Safari

  • Open up Safari Preference by navigating to SafariPreferences.
  • Click the Privacy tab.
  • Click the button Manage Website Data...
  • Click the button Remove All
  • Quit and reopen Safari.

If using Internet Explorer

  • Click the three-dots menu in the top-right corner.
  • Select Settings.
  • Click the button Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data.
  • Check Cached data and files.
  • Click the Clear button.
  • Quit and reopen Internet Explorer.

4) Create a new sheet

  • Select all the cells in the sheet that is showing "Requires valid license key".
  • Copy these cells.
  • Create a new sheet in your spreadsheet by clicking the "+" button in the button left-hand corner.
  • Paste all the cells into this new sheet.
